Invisible Bead Extensions in Palm Springs & the Coachella Valley

Intro

At Vetiver, we believe great extensions should feel like your own hair — only more of it. We specialize in Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE®), a hand-tied method designed to add length, volume, and movement without the glue, heat, or tape that older methods rely on. Whether you're after a little extra fullness or a dramatic transformation, our team creates a result that's seamless, comfortable, and built around your hair's health.

We serve clients from across the Coachella Valley — Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Indian Wells, and beyond.

What are Invisible Bead Extensions?

Invisible Bead Extensions are a hand-tied weft method. Rather than gluing, taping, or fusing extensions to your hair, your stylist creates a flexible foundation along your scalp using small beads, then stitches lightweight wefts of hair onto that foundation. The beads stay hidden beneath your own hair — so there's nothing to see, feel, or work around.

Because the method avoids heat, adhesive, and tension on individual strands, it's designed to protect the hair you already have while letting you wear your hair up, down, or pulled back with total confidence.

Why we love IBE for our clients

  • Truly invisible. No visible beads, bonds, or tracks, even in a high ponytail.

  • Comfortable. The foundation is built to lie flat and move naturally, reducing the tension and pressure points common with other methods.

  • Versatile. Add fullness to fine hair, length to short hair, or both.

  • Health-conscious. No glue, no heat, no tape — and every install is customized to your density and lifestyle.

  • Customizable color. We color-match (and can custom-tint) your wefts so they blend beautifully with your natural shade or your Vetiver color.

Our process

  1. New Client Form. Tell us about your hair and your goals. This helps us match you with the right stylist and reserve the right amount of time.

  2. Consultation. We assess your hair, talk through length and fullness, and color-match your extensions in person.

  3. Order & install. Once your custom wefts arrive, we install, cut, and style your extensions so they blend seamlessly from day one.

  4. Move-ups. As your hair grows, you'll come in for a maintenance appointment to reposition the foundation and keep everything sitting perfectly.

Pricing

Because every head of hair is different, we use customized pricing rather than one-size-fits-all packages. The number of rows and wefts you need depends on your hair's length, density, and your goals — which is exactly what we'll determine together at your consultation. After your consultation, your stylist will confirm the time and pricing for your service before you book.

Frequently asked questions

Will Invisible Bead Extensions damage my hair? The IBE method is specifically designed to be gentle. There's no glue, heat, or tape involved, and the foundation is built to distribute weight evenly and minimize tension. As with any extensions, healthy results come from proper installation and good at-home care — both of which we'll guide you through.

How long do they last, and how often do I need maintenance? Most clients come in for a maintenance (move-up) appointment roughly every 7–10 weeks as their natural hair grows. With proper care, the extension hair itself is reusable for several months before a fresh set is recommended.

Can I still wear my hair up? Yes — that's one of the biggest advantages. The beads stay hidden, so you can wear a ponytail, bun, or braid without anything showing.

How much do extensions cost at Vetiver? Cost depends on your hair, the look you want, and how many wefts and rows are needed. We'll give you a personalized quote at your consultation, so there are no surprises.

Will the color match my hair? We color-match every set and can custom-tint your wefts when needed, so your extensions blend with your natural color or your Vetiver color service.

A few things only you can confirm, which will make this page even stronger:

  1. Certified stylists. If you have IBE-certified stylists, name them (e.g., "Our IBE-certified stylists, [names]…"). And if four or more of your team are certified, apply to be listed as an official IBE Certified Salon in their stylist locator — that's a referral source and a quality backlink.

  2. Brands carried. If you carry specific weft lines (Muse, Strands of Humanity, Covet & Mane, etc.), listing them helps you capture brand-name searches.

  3. A few real before/after photos of your own work — original photography (not stock) helps both conversion and SEO.

  4. Confirm the maintenance window (7–10 weeks is the common IBE range) matches what your stylists actually recommend.
